How to use Libby (or Overdrive): What is Libby?

A guide on how to get and use Libby, also known as Overdrive.

What is Libby?

Libby is a library app where you can borrow e-books, audiobooks, and magazines digitally! You can use it on your phone, tablet, and computer. You can even send e-books to your Kindle.

You can get access to Libby by getting a Statewide Library card with the West Virginia Library Commission. This card is valid for Hoopla no matter where you live in West Virginia. Get a library card by calling us at 304-558-2045 or through completing this online form: https://wvlc.libwizard.com/f/StateLibraryCard

This LibGuide will explain how to obtain and use Libby on various devices. Once you get your library card, look through the tabs above in order to find what you need.

If you have any questions, you can call the WVLC at 304-558-2045 or send an email to wvlcref@wv.gov.
