Americans can enroll or change Marketplace health insurance plans on HealthCare.gov through August 15, 2021, as part of a Special Enrollment Period due to the COVID-19 public health emergency. More people qualify for lower- or no-cost premiums than before, even those who weren’t eligible in the past. Apply and enroll through HealthCare.gov. Questions? Call the Marketplace Call Center at 1-800-318-2596 (open 24 hours a day, seven days a week). You can also find a local assister or agent / broker in your area at https://localhelp.healthcare.gov/.
